Hello, Everyone out there! I wanted to post this blog about health care and the reform that our President Obama wants to institute for all Americans. I believe that we better take a closer look at what he wants to propose upon employers and the health care providers by taxing them for their services. This would mean higher premiums for the lower to middle class families who already cannot afford the health care that some of us already are paying for at this time.
I know that if we institute a universal health care system that families who already are suffering will suffer even further with this type of system. Other countries that tried the universal route of health care system are Canada, European states, and some Asian countries and they say that it does not work. What are your thoughts on this issues of health care reform? One of the things that is a over burden to the health care system is the cost of prescriptions that a patient or a customer has to pay compared to other countries when America get 80% of is medications manufactured over seas like in U.K, Australia, China, and in India just to name a few. If we could give the people the choice to shop the world for their medications this would cut some of the cost that the health care system faces and needs to think about as it trys to reform a much over burden system.
